珍妮特和收养小朋友的汤米在公园里玩乐。汤米却失踪了，警方马上到处搜索，很快便已找回失踪的汤米。汤米毫无损伤，唯独多了一点东西：一只手指。但汤米年纪实在太小，根本不能为警方提供任何线索。于是探长斯塔迈尔封锁整个公园，并进行大规模搜索来找寻失踪尸体，但却遍寻不获。最后找来阿蒙帮忙，阿蒙发现那只神秘手指可能属于一个小提琴手，于便向这方面展开追查……
