仓库发生火灾，消防员在仓库内发现很多贼赃和一具尸体。总裁勃朗宁的电脑也是赃物之一，她的电脑中藏有国防部的机密文件，托比却发现她隐藏了记忆卡失窃一事。死者生前是一名窃贼，米歇尔怀疑他曾经用记忆卡勒索勃朗宁。托比怀疑麦克就是凶手，而麦克为了夺取记忆卡故意成为死者妻子的情人。麦克从贼赃中拿到记忆卡，就在他和勃朗宁交易时被警方当场拘捕。
