恐怖电影在拍摄时道具枪被换成真枪，女演员尼基在不知情的情况下开枪杀害了当红影星文斯。诅咒的阴影笼罩剧组，警方查获文斯死于自己的枪支之下。死者的妻子因为离婚事件而有作案动机，导演乍克突然更改剧本导致死者身亡，剧组公关也和死者有私人恩怨，死者还曾经收到死亡威胁。道具主管被人谋杀，托比和米歇尔夜探拍摄地，却意外撞破血腥屠夫的真实身份，而托比遭到追杀。
